Our congregation is part of the Lutheran Church of Australia, and as such we seek to be a place 'where love comes to life' or in other words, a place where the love, grace, forgiveness and compassion of Jesus Christ is evident through our worship, fellowship and care for each other.
Our Gospel mission is to all the family of God, which for us at St Paul's includes not just our local congregational family, but those in the Hahndorf community and beyond.
We are always delighted to welcome new participants to our worship and fellowship activities, where we trust you will find inspiration, joy, happiness and strength.
Worship services are held every Sunday at 10.15 am.
A Holy Communion service takes place most weeks, however we provide a variety of worship format experiences. Additional worship services are held on festival days.
Worship is followed by fellowship over tea or coffee.

Pastor Peter Heintze commenced as Resident Pastor to our congregation on 8th February 2026.
He joins our congregation in the rich Lutheran tradition that has shaped this community for generations — proclaiming Christ crucified and risen, faithfully administering the Sacraments, and shepherding God’s people with care and humility.
All members and visitors are invited to introduce themselves to Pastor Peter, and to share in the fellowship that has long been a hallmark of our congregation.

As God welcomes us into the body of Christ through baptism, we are all welcomed into community.
In community we are invited to worship and praise God, to encourage one another in faith and life, and to serve others in the larger community and world.

Holy Trinity, the First Sunday after Pentecost is referred to in Matthew 28:16-20 as the Great Commission, which includes the Trinitarian words that most Christians use at baptism: “in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Though the word trinity is not found in the scriptures, in John's Gospel, Jesus sends forth his disciples to baptise in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. May God continue to guide you with His Spirit so that you may find the courage to proclaim and be His witness of the Good News of Jesus Christ.
